Flash Programmer / Designer

We are looking for a hotshot Macromedia Flash Programmer with graphic design skills who specializes in killer interactive user interface design and production. The Flash Programmer will be responsible for designing user interfaces for interactive web applications, hooking into external code and databases for dynamic web sites, and a variety of smaller promotional projects for our existing development customers. This is a team environment, but it is frequently required that programmers are able to work independently. Flash Programmers must have specific, demonstrated experience in the following aspects of web interface development:

  • Minimum 3 years Flash development
  • ActionScript 2.0 development
  • Custom classes/methods from scratch are a must
  • Experience integrating Flash with back-end systems, including sending, receiving and parsing dynamic data
  • Flash Remoting experience required
  • Full use of HTML, CSS capabilities
  • Knowledge of DHTML, XML, and SQL is desirable
  • Proficiency with Adobe design tools
  • Working knowledge of PHP, Shockwave and JavaScript interfacing
  • Solid design sense, especially pertaining to sharp, modern User Interfaces
  • Application workflow ability; concept > prototype > production

  •  Strong communication & organizational skills
  • Ability to research and develop independently
  • Ability and commitment to assess and meet deadlines
  • Links to working Flash and design samples are required
