Web Application Programmer (L2 - Advanced)

We are looking for advanced level programmers to join our in-house development team. Web application programmers will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing web applications as well as specifying, researching and producing new applications from the ground up. We are looking for programmers with professional development experience. This is a team environment, but it is frequently required that programmers are able to work independently. Programmers must have specific , demonstrated experience in the following aspects of web application development:

  •  PHP 5 + MySQL
  • X/HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • *nix production environment
  • Perl, shell scripting, and MySQL/*NIX administration
  • Installing, configuring and integrating third party and Open Source web applications
  • Architecting all aspects of a database-driven web application
  • Cohesive mixed language/platform integration
  • Communication and exchange protocols such as SOAP, AJAX, and XMLRPC
  • PostGreSQL database a plus

  • Strong communication & organizational skills
  • Ability to research and develop independently
